Biting Midge Net for James Baroud Rooftop Tent

Biting Midge Rooftop Tent Net for James Baroud

The biting midge rooftop tent net for James Baroud Small adds extra protection against biting midges and tiny insects. Installed inside the tent, it attaches with Velcro, just like the James Baroud 4-season insulation. Once in place, it covers the full interior perimeter while keeping easy access to the doors.

• Installation: Interior Velcro attachment, similar to the James Baroud insulation system.
• Coverage: Full interior perimeter protection around the living space.
• Openings: Aligned with the tent doors so you can enter and exit without removing the net.
• Mesh: Ultra-fine mesh designed to block biting midges and other small insects.
• Availability: Versions offered for different James Baroud rooftop tent models.
• Storage: Lightweight and easy to pack when not in use.

This design lets you keep full ventilation while adding strong protection against very small insects. The door-aligned openings make entry and exit simple. Meanwhile, the fine mesh creates an extra barrier against biting midges that can pass through standard nets.

Compatibility of the Biting Midge Rooftop Tent Net

This biting midge rooftop tent net is designed exclusively for James Baroud rooftop tents. It installs inside the cabin with no permanent modification and works with several James Baroud accessories, including Thermozip bedding.

It becomes a practical addition to any camping or overlanding setup, whether your tent sits on an SUV, pickup, 4x4, or campervan.

Ideal Protection Against Biting Midges in Quebec

In Quebec and across Canada, biting midges can quickly become a nuisance during warmer periods, especially near lakes, rivers, and wooded areas. Thanks to its very fine mesh, this net adds targeted protection while still allowing air to flow through the tent.

Whether for a weekend in the forest or a long road trip, it keeps your tent openings usable and lets you enjoy ventilation with greater peace of mind.

Simple and Fast Installation

Installation happens inside the tent using the Velcro system. First, position the net around the full interior perimeter. Then carefully align its openings with the existing doors. Once installed, you can enter and exit normally without removing the whole system.

Practical Tips for Your Biting Midge Rooftop Tent Net

For easier setup, install the net before opening all tent doors fully. Also make sure the Velcro is firmly attached and that the openings line up correctly with the doors.

After your trip, shake the net outside to remove insects and debris. Finally, let it dry completely before storing. This way you protect the mesh and enjoy lasting protection against biting midges on your rooftop tent adventures.
