Universal Canopy Rack
The VAN44 universal canopy rack mounts to the accessory rails of a truck canopy. It carries a rooftop tent, an awning, and gear for a weekend or a long haul. The bed stays open for water, tools, and the dog.

A universal canopy rack built for road salt
The 304 stainless side rails stand up to road salt and coastal rain. Then the textured powder coat shrugs off strap scuffs. Aluminum bars keep the platform lighter than a full steel frame.
Four adjustable feet spread the load across the rails. Also, install does not drill the shell. Never bolt this rack straight to the canopy shell.
Fitment and use cases
This rack fits a canopy with accessory rails, factory or aftermarket. Still, the real limit comes from the canopy maker. The VAN44 rating does not replace the shell rating.
Weekend rooftop tent trip
Pick the bar length closest to your rails. Then the canopy doors keep their clearance. On an RSI SmartCap, choose the width closest to the existing rails.
Multi-week road trip
Set the tent in the center and the awning on one side. Next, keep jerry cans in the bed, not on the shell. Measure total height before a parkade.
Months off-grid
Use the static rating at camp, not while driving. For example, a light tent and traction boards is a sensible real-world cap. Rinse salt after a winter haul, even on stainless.
Install tips
Align all four feet, then torque the hardware to spec. Finally, recheck the mounts after 60 miles and after every rough track. A low, straight rack cuts noise and wind drag.
