Bluetti RV5 + B4810 5 kW Electrical Kit for RVs and Camper Vans
The Bluetti RV5 + B4810 electrical kit combines the main components required to build a complete 5 kW energy system for an RV, camper van, boat or off-grid installation. It includes the RV5 power hub, one 5,120 Wh B4810 LiFePO4 battery and the wiring kits required to connect the battery and integrate vehicle alternator charging.
With 5,000 W of continuous AC output and 5.12 kWh of starting battery capacity, the system can run multiple demanding appliances such as a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, electronics and compatible RV air conditioners. Its 48 V architecture also centralizes solar charging, vehicle charging, shore power and AC/DC output within one integrated system.
- Included: 1 × Bluetti RV5 power hub, 1 × B4810 battery, 1 × A-AKIT-UN-0406 wiring kit and 1 × A-AKIT-UN-0407 wiring kit.
- AC output: 5,000 W continuous at 120 V with up to 10,000 W surge power.
- Battery capacity: 5,120 Wh with one B4810 LiFePO4 battery.
- Solar charging: Up to 1,800 W through the RV5 PV inputs.
- Vehicle charging: Up to 600 W from a 12 V starter battery or 1,200 W from a 24 V system.
- AC charging: Up to 5,000 W from a compatible AC power source.
- AC output: 120 V, 42 A, up to 5,000 W.
- 12 V DC output: Up to 100 A / 1,360 W.
- 24 V DC output: Up to 60 A / 1,620 W.
- Total AC + DC load: Up to 6,000 W depending on battery configuration.
- Battery: B4810 LiFePO4 battery with IP65 protection and integrated self-heating.
- Architecture: 48 V energy system designed for RV and camper van electrical installations.
The RV5 acts as the core of the system. It combines an AC inverter, MPPT solar charging, vehicle charging, battery charging and 48 V-to-12 V/24 V DC conversion in a single unit. This integrated architecture reduces the number of separate electrical components normally required in a conventional RV installation.
The B4810 provides 5.12 kWh of energy storage in the standard configuration. Its LiFePO4 chemistry and integrated self-heating system also make it particularly well suited to four-season vehicles and colder Canadian conditions.
Bluetti RV5 + B4810 Compatibility and Expansion
This kit is built around the Bluetti RV5 power hub and B4810 battery. It can be integrated into an existing RV electrical system or used as the foundation of a new complete power installation.
Storage capacity can be expanded with additional B4810 batteries in Bluetti-supported configurations. This modular design allows you to start with 5.12 kWh and increase available runtime as your vehicle, appliance load or off-grid requirements grow.
The RV5 also supports compatible 12–50 V solar arrays, alternator charging and AC shore power. Bluetti's Epanel and Epad can be added separately to provide smart AC/DC distribution and a dedicated central control interface.
RV, Camper Van and Overlanding Applications
For a weekend camping trip, the B4810's 5,120 Wh capacity provides substantial energy for refrigeration, lighting, water pumps, electronics and kitchen appliances. The 5,000 W AC inverter also allows the system to handle much higher-demand equipment than a small conventional 12 V installation.
On multi-week road trips, the RV5 can recover energy while driving through alternator charging and continue charging from solar once you reach camp. Shore power provides another fast charging option whenever the vehicle is connected to a compatible AC source.
For extended off-grid travel, additional B4810 batteries can increase runtime without replacing the core power system. This modular architecture makes it possible to scale energy storage for refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, cooking appliances and other equipment used every day.
Practical Tips for the Bluetti RV5 + B4810 Kit
Before installation, plan the location of the RV5 and battery to keep cable runs reasonable and maintain easy access for maintenance. Allow adequate ventilation around the RV5 and securely mount the B4810 so it remains stable while the vehicle is moving.
Use the included wiring kits according to Bluetti's installation instructions. The A-AKIT-UN-0406 provides the main power connection between the RV5 and B4810, while the A-AKIT-UN-0407 integrates the vehicle starter battery and alternator charging circuit.
Before first use, configure the battery, vehicle charging input, DC output voltage and AC input settings through the BLUETTI app. Monitoring state of charge, temperature and input/output power can help optimize system runtime.
Finally, periodically inspect cable routing and terminal tightness, especially after extended travel on rough or gravel roads. Proper installation and maintenance help ensure reliable performance over the long term.
