Bluetti BC200 Expansion Battery for FridgePower

The Bluetti BC200 expansion battery adds 2,016 Wh of storage capacity to the FridgePower backup system. Designed specifically for use with Bluetti FridgePower, it significantly extends the runtime of a refrigerator or other essential appliances during a power outage without requiring a different main power station.

Its slim design makes it easy to integrate into tight spaces. The BC200 can be placed on the floor or mounted to a wall near the FridgePower, making it particularly practical for homes, condos, garages, cottages and other installations where space is limited.

Each BC200 adds 2.016 kWh of energy storage to the system. A standalone FridgePower provides 2,016 Wh, while adding one BC200 increases total capacity to 4,032 Wh. Two BC200 batteries bring the system to 6,048 Wh, and three expansion batteries provide up to 8,064 Wh in total.

This modular design makes it easy to match backup capacity to your actual needs. A compact configuration can protect a refrigerator during a short outage, while a fully expanded system can provide a much larger energy reserve for extended blackouts.

Bluetti BC200 Compatibility

The BC200 is designed for use with the Bluetti FridgePower refrigerator backup system. It is not a standalone portable power station and does not include its own AC outlets.

Once connected to FridgePower, the additional battery becomes part of the overall storage system and automatically increases the available energy capacity. Up to three BC200 batteries can be connected to a single FridgePower for a total system capacity of 8,064 Wh.

Installation is also straightforward thanks to the dedicated expansion cable supplied with the battery. No additional inverter or adapter is required to integrate the BC200 with FridgePower.

Refrigerator Backup and Power Outage Applications

During a short outage, adding one BC200 can nearly double the available stored energy compared with a FridgePower operating on its own. This can extend the runtime of a refrigerator, freezer or other essential appliance powered by the main unit.

For longer outages, two or three expansion batteries can be added. This is particularly useful for homes, cottages and remote properties where keeping food refrigerated is a priority during an extended loss of grid power.

The system operates quietly and requires no fuel, providing indoor backup power without continuously relying on a generator.

Practical Tips for the Bluetti BC200

Install the batteries close to the FridgePower to stay within the length of the supplied expansion cables and maintain a clean installation. BLUETTI allows the units to be placed side by side on the floor or individually mounted on a wall, but they should not be physically stacked on top of one another.

Before first use, make sure all expansion cables are fully connected and that each battery is recognized by the FridgePower. You can then monitor system status and available energy through the FridgePower interface and compatible monitoring features.

For long-term storage, keep the batteries in a dry, temperature-controlled location away from excessive heat. Avoid leaving them completely discharged for extended periods to help preserve battery life.
